We learned a few facts about arachnids(spiders). Tarantulas are arachnids. They have eight legs, come in different colors and sizes, and are found all over the world. They are also large, hairy, scary and creepy looking. Some people have tarantulas as pets…imagine…hmmmm. River Otters were entertaining. The children learned where otters live and what they eat. Field trips are wonderful. Trips give children a visual and hands on experience that books, computers, etc can’t give as effectively. Here at Pooh and Friends we understand this value for an enhanced curriculum. This was truly an enriching experience for our threes, fours and five yearolds.
