As we reach the closing weeks of the fall program here at Pooh and Friends, we would like to look back at all the exciting trips we’ve been on in the past weeks.

During circle time  the kids,  Ratisha, and I read Skippyjon Jones by Judy Schachner, the story of a Siamese cat who has a wild imagination. Skippyjon pretends to be different animals like a bird, or whale; ultimately, Skippyjon’s imagination leads him to believe he is Skippito Friskit a sword fighting chihuahua.The book taught us the power of imagination, and even expanded our Spanish vocabulary.  We went to see the play, based on this book ,at Tarrytown Music Hall. This Theater Works production was very lively with  plenty of audience participation. The kids danced, sang and had an amazing time.
